He is a software engineer by training and has worked for companies such as Twitter and Google. He researches blockchain foundations and provable security of the permissionless consensus layer. He holds an Electrical and Computer Engineering degree from the National Technical University of Athens with a major in Computer Science. Dionysis has published and presented in major security conferences such as Financial Cryptography, Black Hat and Real World Cryptography.
Dimitris Karakostas is a blockchains PhD student and a member of the Blockchain Technology Lab at the University of Edinburgh and a Research Fellow at IOHK. He holds an Electrical & Computer Engineering degree from the National Technical University of Athens and has worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Nokia and as a Student Security Researcher at the University of Athens, whilst presenting in major conferences like Black Hat. His research focuses on asset management using distributed ledgers and his interests include decentralized systems, cryptographic applications and software architecture.
Anna Tsilidou is the project manager of SignedBlock. She has previously worked as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising financial institutions and companies on matters of strategy, operational excellence & digital transformation. Her background is in Finance and she has worked for multinational corporations such as BCG, P&G as well as start-ups. She holds a Bachelor of Science from University in Macedonia in Finance and Accounting.
